How does HP PA 12 polyamide differ from ABS and photopolymers?

We print products using polyamide from Hewlett Packard. HP PA 12 is more durable and chemical resistant than ABS and photopolymers.

ABS plastic melts at 105 °C, whereas HP PA 12 melts at 187 °C. Polyamide is both load and vibration resistant, and it is used in the aerospace and automotive industries.

The product’s durability depends not only on the material but also on the wall thickness. For best results, follow our recommendations for preparing models for printing.
