Client’s problem

The company needed high-quality 3D printing services to make AR rifle magazines. The finished items needed to lightweight, durable, and resistant to impact and mechanical stress. Conventional 3D printing didn’t deliver the desired quality and the casting technique was unprofitable for low production volumes.

Solution

Fire On turned to Infomir 3D Printing for help. We printed the kit on our Hewlett Packard Jet Fusion 5210 industrial 3D printing line using HP PA 12 polyamide. The properties of HP PA 12 polyamide help us make finished items that are highly detailed, durable, and resistant to mechanical stress and adverse environmental effects such as moisture, UV rays, and chemicals.

Results

The client received the kit within five business days. The components fully met the terms of reference. With Infomir 3D Printing, the client managed to get high-quality items at an affordable price.
