Skyeton is a company that develops unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), classified as small tactical vehicles, as well as ultralight aircraft, for numerous aerial solutions. The company was founded by a group of engineers and pilots in 2006.
The client needed to print cases for modem circuit boards and UAV fuselage components in order to complete the production cycle. The customer considered various types of 3D printing for the production of the necessary components, but none of them offered the required quality or was financially viable.
Skyeton contacted Infomir 3D Printing and sent them 3D models of products. Within 5 working days, 8 parts in total had to be printed. To fulfil the customer’s order, an HP Jet Fusion 5210 industrial 3D printing line was used, and HP PA 12 polyamide was used as the material.
The finished products proved to be light, durable, and resistant to moisture and chemicals. A set of components was produced on time, coloured black using the dyeing technology, and delivered to the client by Nova Poshta. Infomir 3D Printing met the customer’s expectations in terms of quality and timeframes and also helped to save time and money on printing products.
