The gun manufacturer needed seven sets of parts to be created for its gun butts. The client wasn’t happy with other printing technologies in terms of quality, durability, and price. The plastic had to withstand some mechanical stress. Also, the client wanted the two parts of the finished item to fit together as tightly as possible.
With help from Infomir 3D Printing’s experts, the client got a finalized 3D model which was used for printing subsequent gun butts. We painted the finished items in black and sent them to the client.
The client received items that met all requirements: backed by the high printing resolution, the parts of the gun butts fitted together tightly and without any gaps. Moreover, the client was happy with the durability and appearance of the items. Printing seven sets took 12 business days and was cheaper than other techniques.
