What materials do we use?

We use exclusively Hewlett Packard’s 3D High Reusability PA 12. We use this polyamide powder to build functional products and prototypes alike, so the serial and trial batches have the same balanced property profiles.
This robust thermoplastic produces high-density parts with strong structural integrity. The parts made from PA 12 are resistant to the chemical effects of greasing substances and aliphatic hydrocarbons. The material is also a good choice for casings where IP67 protection rating and water-tightness is required.
PA 12 meets the requirements of the US FDA guidance for Intact Skin Surface Devices as well as USP Class I-VI and is suitable for medical devices. PA 12 is even used in the production of toys. However, this polymer is not an appropriate material for implants and parts in contact with open fire.
