The company needed a unique type of housing for anti-jamming high-precision GNSS receivers. Dimensions: 90 x 58 x 12.5 mm. Dimensions: 90 x 58 x 12.5 mm. The items had to be durable and moisture-resistant. EPS tried to print the parts on a 3D printer using FDM technology, but this method didn’t deliver the desired quality.
EPS contacted Infomir 3D Printing for help and sent a 3D model of its housing. We printed the parts on our HP Jet Fusion 5210 industrial 3D printing line using MJF technology. We used polyamide HP PA 12, which enabled us to make durable and moisture-resistant items.
The client received the order within five days. The finished items are durable, highly detailed, and moisture-resistant. Before shipping, we painted the items in matte black. Thanks to Infomir 3D Printing, the client received its high-quality housings and saved time and money.
